Domain privacy protection
Replace the public registrant contact with a privacy service.
A public registration record can show a name, address, email, and phone. Privacy protection substitutes the privacy service’s contact details so visitors and marketers do not harvest yours. You can still receive forwarded mail about the domain.
Reginova does not escrow the underlying contact data. The sponsoring registrar keeps the real registrant record for registry and dispute purposes. Privacy is optional at checkout and is billed per year with the domain.
- Available on most generic extensions
- Can be turned on or off later from your account when the registrar allows it
- Does not hide the domain name, nameservers, or expiry date
- Some country-code extensions refuse privacy by registry rule
